Cheap Dinosaurs

Cheap Dinosaurs is a psychedelic progressive rock band from Philadelphia, led by former Chromelodeon founder & longtime MAGFest guest, Dino Lionetti. Cheap Dinosaurs' audio-visual experience combines pop melodies with jagged-rusty rhythms, circuit bent sounds and dirty synthesizer leads. Their song "Hot Plate" won TCTD's best chip track of the year in 2010 & NPR's Peter Crimmins recently noted that, "Cheap Dinosaurs is made up of giants in the local (Philadelphia) chip music scene." An accurate observation with an all-star lineup consisting of Animal Style, Chipocrite, Bucky, an0va and Store Cats guitarist Danny Tarng. Be sure to check out the first "chip super-group" headlining the chip music showcase on Saturday this year.
