Broken Alias is a sidequest character of multidisciplinary artist George Gleixner (@gleix) with a hyperfocus on all things VGM.
Drawing on a history of more traditional composition, stylings absorbed from nearly a decade working NYC’s nightlife, and a love of hardware trackers like Dirtywave M8 and LSDJ on the Nintendo Gameboy, Broken Alias crafts a complex series of lofi and 8bit tunes mixed with modern explorations of everything from drum & bass and jungle, to melodic techno and pop, to soundtracks you might only expect to hear when entering that weird potion shop that only sells a single mystery liquid for more money than you’d ever make during your entire playthrough.
