If you’re playing a JRPG, you should always expect to end up on a floating continent. But if you’re seeing the band called Floating Continent, you should only expect the unexpected. Despite being named for one of the most common of tropes, this project from Sacramento, CA, brings out-of-the-box sounds to deep-cut slices of the VGM pie, transforming them into singable epics and danceable bangers (usually both at once). These nerds are so fresh to the scene, most of them have never even been to MAGFest before! Witness these genre-bending weirdos move between orchestra and pop, prog and punk, Latin jazz and church choir. Featuring veteran special guests and some big surprises, this is a debut not to be missed and sure to be remembered.
