Made up of veterans and newcomers of the vgm community, Turnabout Players is a North Carolina based band who provides an experience for nerds who want to groove. Pulling from both the surrounding sounds and shared backgrounds of jazz, fusion, and r&b, they combine their love of video game music with various musical inspirations ranging from jazz waltz to the backbeats of dilla. Whether it’s Metroid blended with Erykah Badu or Phoenix Wright with the Jackson 5, Turnabout Players is here to keep your ears intrigued and your body moving.
