Jampods are festival sanctioned places for attendees and guests to give impromptu performances, at any time (unless closed). No hallway jams should occur outside of a Jampod.
To keep MAGFest safe and fun for everyone, please follow these rules:
Universal Jampod Rules
- Jams should be no more than 30 minutes (including set up) when someone else is waiting for a turn.
- Both performers AND audience must stay within the Jam Zone (floor tape).
Walkways must remain clear to traffic at all times. - Posted volume limits must be followed.
Acceptable volume varies by Jam Pod location. Staff may request you relocate to a different Jam Pod. - Jam Pods are Non-Profit.
No collecting tips or selling merch. You can give things away and share your social media! - Staff may end a jam for any reason.
Common examples include: excess noise, crowd size, or going over time.
