Chipspace

Chipspace

Chipspace is MAGFest's chiptune open mic stage, which is available to any and all MAGFest attendees interested in & capable of performing chipmusic at MAG. (tl;dr – It’s a Jamspace for chiptunes yo!).

Full info here.

Hallways & Jampods

Hallways & Jampods

Sometimes people bring their own instruments and play them in the hallway. We're strangely comfortable with this.

If you choose to play an instrument in the hallway please be mindful of impeding traffic, or causing excessive noise.

Due to the inherent noise and traffic issues that arise from hallway DJs, we've created Jampods. A Jampod is an area specifically picked to provide DJs the most exposure, while also being optimal for noise and traffic flow. Look for Jampods on the convention center half of the venue, delineated with yellow gaff tape on the ground, and signage detailing best practices. Remember that MAGFest is a community and collaborative environment, so make sure to share the space, and feel free to share equipment too!

Jamclinic

Musicians of all instruments and skill level join together to improve their chops through directed workshops. Scheduled lessons are going on all weekend, plus some concerts and open jams!

Jamspace & Community Curated Stage

Jamspace & Community Curated Stage

Open mic with instruments provided. Or bring your own! Hop on stage and jam with all of the other talented musicians at MAGFest. Even if you're not a musician, you can still sit back and enjoy the music.

The Jamspace also acts as our Community Curated Stage, where we give the space to different sub-communities, and let them put together their own lineup of performances.
