Content Productions

Content Productions has been entertaining MAGFest attendees for over a decade with ridiculous game shows, informative panels, and wild performances. Their MAGFest offerings are heavy on audience participation and interactive surprises. Content Productions are back at it this year with epic audience contests in The Video Game Game Show Showdown and Name That Tune, and The Trollnight Show, a comedy late-night talk show set in a fantasy realm.

Video Game History Foundation

The Video Game History Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and teaching the history of video games.

Coming EXTREMELY SOON*, VGHF is launching a digital library, where you can access their collections of rare video game research materials for free, wherever you are.

Dr. Ethan Hein

Ethan Hein holds a PhD in Music Education from New York University. He is an adjunct professor of music at NYU and the New School, where he teaches songwriting, music theory and production. Together with Will Kuhn, he is the co-author of Electronic Music School: A Contemporary Approach to Teaching Creativity, published by Oxford University Press. Together with Heather Fortune, he is the composer of 5 Pop Grooves for Orff Ensemble, published by F-flat Books. He also writes a monthly column for MusicRader in which he analyzes current and classic songs.

Colin Ryan

Colin Ryan is the voice actor of Alphinaud in Final Fantasy XIV. A Thai British actor, his career has spanned the worlds of voice over, theatre, and television.

Robin Baumgarten

Robin is an experimental hardware game developer and interactive installation artist based in Berlin, Germany. His works range from award-winning one-dimensional hardware games, over weird wobbly spheres, to walls full of door stopper springs that visualise quantum physics in a playful yet scientifically accurate manner.

WildSpice

Meet WildSpice! This chaotic, demon idol Vtuber is busting out of the walls for MAGFest. She's a member of OshiLinkEN’s first wave, Comets!

Since 2018, WildSpice has been streaming JRPGs, retro games, and belting out karaoke like a pro over on Twitch. She became a Vtuber in 2021 and loves it and you, the fans. She's also got over 20 years of cosplaying under her belt.

Her mission? To create a chill, fun online space where we can geek out together. Oh, and she’s hoping her community can ease up on the hole obsession—she could really use some help with that!

She’ll also be teaming up with her fellow OshiLinkEN talents for some awesome panels, so get ready for a good time! 🎉

Plexi Cosplay

Plexi Cosplay is an award-winning cosplayer from Maryland specializing in engineering and costume design. She works as a costume and prop designer for Hacksmith Industries and has worked for international game companies, streaming services like Netflix, and more.

Sunset Dragon

Sunset Dragon is a cosplay designer, illustrator and cosplayer who has been in the cosplay scene since 2009. She enjoys creating high fantasy looks inspired by pop culture characters for everyone to enjoy and cosplay. An avid cosplayer herself, Sunset has made dozens of costumes ranging from classic anime like Magic Knight Rayearth, to an original gown inspired by the Hollow Knight game.

Super Art Fight

Super Art Fight, The Greatest Live Art Competition in the Known Universe, was founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 2008. Since then, they’ve produced over 200 live events across the United States and into Canada, worked with big name brands like Vitamin Water and College Humor, and rocked faces at massive comic and anime conventions. They present their unique brand of "Art Fights", where artists collide on a giant wall of canvas, and the audience picks the winner!

Chase Bethea

Chase Bethea is a multi-award-winning video game composer known in the industry as the “Swiss army knife of video game composition.” With over a decade of experience, Chase has crafted memorable music that enhances the player’s experience across a diverse range of games. His work, celebrated for its unique fusion of orchestral, electronic, and world music elements, has been performed by ensembles like the Helix Collective, New York Gamer Symphony and other orchestras worldwide. Notable projects include the critically acclaimed soundtracks for I Can’t Escape: Darkness, Aground, and On the Peril of Parrots.

Chase is also a dynamic live performer, showcasing his talents at prestigious game conferences such as MAGWest. Over the past two years, he has given more than 50 talks at conferences and colleges, including GDC, PAX, Berklee College of Music, Game Devs of Colour, IGDA, and Pocket Gamer. His contributions to the industry have been recognized with exhibitions in the NAMM Museum and the British Library, and he has shared his insights through articles published in multiple global magazines. Chase’s passion for innovation in game music has earned him numerous accolades and solidified his reputation as a leading voice in the industry.

Elisa Meléndez

Elisa Meléndez was born and raised in Puerto Rico by way of Miami, where she discovered her love of the stage—first as an actress, then as a rock singer/songwriter with her band Crimson Echoes. A lifelong learner and consummate nerd (ask her about her bowling and Trivial Pursuit tattoos!), she channeled her passion for music and video games into a Ph.D. in Sociology along with careers as a college instructor and video game marketer. Elisa now enjoys lending her bilingual voice and crimson curls to everything from audiobooks to commercials. She currently resides in Dallas, TX where she makes music with her guitar player husband and black cat on background vocals.

Fibre

FIBRE is a DC-based electronic producer & composer- a musicial powerhouse in the global electronic scene with his infectious blend of Future Funk, French House & Disco. A key player in the Vaporwave & Future Funk movements, FIBRE's music is a nostalgia-infused journey packed with funk, glittery pop synths and dancefloor-ready beats. Tracks like "First Strike" and "Upper Bound" were featured on Riot Games's Sessions: Star Guardian Taliyah, and he’s worked with net labels such as Neoncity Records & Business Casual.

FIBRE founded Montaime in 2016, a label for like-minded electronic musicians sharing similar passions for Disco, with a discography of nearly 100 releases.

Lately, FIBRE has toured coast to coast and has worked with parties such as YOI TOKI & Shrek Rave - all while planning 2025 single releases and a forthcoming album.

TASBot & DwangoAC

dwangoAC is the keeper of TASBot, a robot that plays video games perfectly for charity events. TASBot presses buttons in order similar to a player piano and beats games perfectly, often employing game breaking glitches. TASBot content has helped raise more than $1.5M for various charities at Games Done Quick events since 2013. dwangoAC is part of the senior staff of TASVideos.org and has presented at DEF CON, Thotcon, GeekPwn, and other hacker events.

Joe Zieja

Joe Zieja is a voice actor, musician, educator, and entrepreneur in Los Angeles, CA. A veteran of MAGFest, he's been part of OverClocked Remix for over a decade under the handle XPRTNovice, and is currently on staff as a judge - but you might be more familiar with his voice acting roles as Claude Von Riegan in Fire Emblem Three Houses, Wriothesley in Genshin Impact, or any of his other 150+ IMDb credits in games, animation, and anime. He is also the founder of LearnVoiceActing.com, teaching the next generation of voice actors to embrace their careers without waiting for anyone's permission.
