SECURITY COORDINATOR - CONTRACT ROLE

We are looking for a Security Coordinator to help support our mission to make the world a better place through video games. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of all policies and procedures related to event security, and will support and coordinate with existing volunteer-based and contract-based security teams at all MAGFest, Inc. events (including Super MAGFest, MAGStock, and MAGWest).

A successful candidate will be level-headed, thorough, empathetic, and discreet. Excellent written communication, high attention to detail, and regular administrative work are required. Please note that this position may involve evaluating reports of sexual harassment or sexual assault.

This position is contract-based and will last from the date of hire until approximately March 30, 2025, with high potential for renewal thereafter. Since MAGFest is a heavily volunteer-based organization, this position also requires some availability on nights and weekends, particularly in the months surrounding our major events.
