Also known as Funk Fiction, Pejman Roozbeh materialized by the coastal waters and urban sprawl of Los Angeles. As a child of the 90s, he was influenced by the beginnings of the 16-bit era, Nicktoons, and the advent of Electronica. Despite being a funkster at heart, he’s also adept at dissolving genres – blurring the lines between 80s RnB, nu disco, ambient chillwave, and deep house. As a composer, Funk Fiction’s projects cover eclectic video game genres: writing for games such as the ambient puzzler Epitasis, rhythm games Cytus II & Crypt of the Necrodancer, and currently the music-centric action adventure No Straight Roads and the Kaiju brawler GigaBash. As an artist, his music spans from choice originals to freshly reimagined covers of video game favorites. Blessed with celestial waves from interstellar space, he embodies funk so great it comes from fiction.
