Nyokee

Nyokee takes you to alternative realities through uplifting, emotive beats and video game inspired visuals. Think Bjork, Grimes, BT, 90s trance, sci fi, fantasy and anime, all remixed in a surreal dream. As a producer, researcher, book author, university lecturer, singer, violinist and audio-visual artist, she bridges scientific and creative domains in her work. Nyokee’s audio-visual art is heavily influenced by her synesthesia, her ability to hear colours and see sound.

Metroid Metal

Metroid Metal was a weird idea started by Stemage back in 2003 with an mp3 upload of "Theme" to the now-defunct IGNBoards (RIP).

After becoming obsessed with the project, he took the band live with a full band at MAGFest 2009. To help celebrate 20 years alongside MAGFest, the band is taking the stage once again at the very place it was founded.

Math the Band


Math the Band is a high energy synth-punk band that began somewhere around 2002. Their latest album "Flange Factory Five" is a choose-your-own-adventure novel about a magical guitar pedal. (Due to a legal conflict with the band's label, this album has recently been removed from all streaming services, and all known remaining physical copies have been destroyed.)

NPC Collective

In gaming culture, an NPC (non-player character) is often a bit player in the overall story — he or she is there for no reason except to get the main character to their goal. Their backstory is never told.

The NPC Collective includes rappers, producers, designers, educators, students, athletes, and even a WWE superstar amongst the ranks. Since the founding of the collective, NPCC members have generated acclaim nationally and internationally, main-staging major video game conventions such as PAX and MAGfest, touring Europe and Asia, releasing Billboard charting albums, and consistently encouraging more gamers and otaku from urban spaces to participate in Con culture.

Rustage is a London based Nerdcore Rapper & Producer.

Rustage has covered a wide array of anime over the years through his music, including Naruto, My Hero Academia, One Piece & DragonBall, and in doing so he has garnered over 1 Million subscribers on his YouTube Channel.

Brentalfloss

Brent Black, AKA “Brentalfloss,” adds satirical lyrics to classic video game tunes in the “With Lyrics” YouTube series, where he has expanded his base of subscribers to nearly half a million. Along the way, he has released three major albums hitting the top ten on the iTunes comedy and Billboard comedy charts, and he has performed all over North America and Europe. He composed the score for indie game "Default Dan," co-created the digital party game "Use Your Words," and has written a Star Trek parody musical called “Khan!!!” which will open Off-Broadway in the spring of 2023!

Game Genie Sokolov

Game Genie Sokolov, the SEGA Funky Queen, is a multiple and complex artist, oscillating between chiptune, synthwave, synthpop and vaporwave. She is, among other things, a drag queen, gaymers, software engineer, radio host and music composer. Her music and her sounds continually transforms as the artist evolves in her search for new sounds and her identity.

After stumbling upon LSDJ in 2011, then doing nothing until 2016 because of her studies, Marie started creating hard-hitting, melodic and frantic chiptune with the support of the local DIY/antifascist squat L'Ecluse from her quaint hometown of Rheims.

Since relocating to Paris in 2017, she released breakout EP Zenzoo Pop and started extensively touring across Europe, becoming a mainstay in the European chip scene.

In 2019, she unleashed the catchy and emphatic Do No Harm on Bytedoll Records while receiving high praise for her sets at events such as Square Sounds Melbourne (Australia), Chipwrecked (Denmark), Gleeetch Me Hard + 8bit Breakdown (Germany), I/O (New York City), Hyperwave x µcollective (England)... Dropping a unique smorgasbord of cute bangers together since 2016, HYPE☆GIRL brings the kawaii, while Snacks brings the yabai, and combined they've sandwiched all genres in between.

With previous club appearances in Orlando, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlantic City and even as far as Kobe, Japan, along with convention appearances at Colossalcon, MAGFest, Anime Central, Anime Los Angeles, Anime Expo and San Japan, they've got a little something for any crowd to munch on.

2TD

Fusing passion for music, gaming, and internet culture comes easy to James. Known as 2TD, he uses these different facets interchangeably to create his own path through both virtual and “IRL” space. Between being a founder of the premiere virtual performance space known as “SHELTER” and virtual space label SHELTERNET. 2TD is taking his sound global and performing in a future forward medium using VR technology.

Be on the lookout as he has some major collaborations in the works, along with personal releases spanning multiple genres. Make sure to keep an eye out for future releases from him and his virtual imprint, along with catching one of his “IRL” or Virtual performances.

DV-i

DV-i is a hypermedia musician in NYC. Working with both old ROMplers and contemporary DAWs she creates a lush, futuristic digiscape replete with stacked pads and lush breaks.

Fusing together inspirations from club music, EDM, and nerd culture, Obi-Wan Shinobi offers a unique performance energy that keeps people grooving. As resident DJ of the cosplay party series Glotaku, and warehouse party Limit Break; Obi brings quick blends and multi-genre beats featuring samples from video games, anime and pop-culture to conventions, clubs, and raves alike.
