Roll 4

Since 2016, the Roll 4 improv team based in Richmond, Virginia has showcased the joy, thrills, and laughter of live, tabletop role playing across dozens of nerdy one-shot adventures. Driven by suggestions pulled from the crowd, and sometimes performances from the audience members themselves, this seasoned crew of talented improvisers brings to life wild campaigns with their fates determined by the roll of the dice. The Roll 4 team has a standing residency with monthly shows at the Coalition Theater in Richmond, VA.

Cory Yee

Cory Yee is a Chinese American voice actor, most well known for Gorou in Genshin Impact, Akito in Ghostwire: Tokyo and The Beholder in the award winning To Your Eternity. Cory grew up in Southern California and early on found a passion for nerdy and creative outlets. Loving video games, animation, musical theater, vocal ensemble, and improv, Cory had the seeds of voice acting planted early on. But because of his Chinese American heritage, acting as a profession always seemed like an impossibility. Still wanting to pursue storytelling, Cory went to film school and spent nearly a decade in every job for on set production. However, filmmaking wasn’t as fulfilling as he hoped, as acting was in his heart. After transitioning to the Voice Acting side of the industry through immense hard work and the good will of many, Cory considers himself to be incredibly fortunate to be able to do what he cares about and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

Whose Roll Is It Anyway?

Whose Roll is it Anyway was born of a simple idea: What if we played D&D... but got a whole bunch of other people to do all the boring stuff FOR us? You know, lame shit like coming up with creatures to fight, or writing a "plot," or having "standards for how friends should treat each other at the table."

Conning rubes to do the heavy lifting for us to create our game has been an honor and a privilege, and one we take very seriously. Since our debut at MAGFest all those years ago, we've been performing our game for audiences in Baltimore with our monthly residency at No Land Beyond. We honestly don't know how we've managed to keep the grift going this long. It's really impressive.
